Donation of rehabilitation buses
Due to inconvenient transportation and insufficient medical resources, the healthcare needs of the elderly in remote mountainous areas of Ruifang often go unmet. To address this issue, Hony Glass Technology has donated a rehabilitation bus in the name of its foundation, naming it the "Huang Wan-de Memorial Bus" after the chairman's father. This donation not only significantly improves the convenience and safety of local residents’ travel but also ensures that elderly individuals with mobility challenges can successfully reach medical facilities to receive necessary treatments.
Caring for children's growth and development
There are still many cases of "invisible poverty" in society. When a family's income is low and the cost of living rises, unexpected difficulties can cause the family's financial support system to collapse, threatening the children's right and opportunity to receive an education. The foundation has been long-term supporters of students in remote mountainous areas, providing scholarships and educational support to help children from disadvantaged families receive quality education and move towards a hopeful future.
Supporting a group of children who love sports
The Ruifang Elementary School Lele Baseball Team was invited to participate in the Asia Cup International Teeball Championship in Japan but faced the threat of not being able to attend due to a lack of funds. The team members took it upon themselves to sell baseball equipment at the Ruifang Train Station Plaza to raise funds for the trip. The public responded warmly, and the Hony Glass Charity Foundation generously donated part of the event funds to support the baseball team’s participation in the competition in Japan.
