Carbon Management

"Promoting Carbon Reduction Strategies"

Achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 has become a global common goal. Hony Glass Technology is actively investing in carbon reduction strategy plans and voluntarily participating in greenhouse gas inventories, demonstrating our firm commitment to environmental protection and steadily progressing towards the 2050 net-zero emissions goal.

Energy Management

"Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions"

We recognize that our production processes and daily operations heavily rely on electricity, constituting nearly 80% of the company's greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, we are actively implementing the ISO 50001 Energy Management System to effectively monitor and utilize electricity. We aim to achieve external certification by 2026.To further reduce energy consumption, Hony Glass Technology has initiated a series of energy-saving initiatives, including gradually phasing out outdated equipment to improve energy efficiency, implementing waste heat recovery systems, and adopting solar power generation systems.

Waste Management

"Efficient Water Resource Management: Supporting Green Production"

We categorize waste into recyclable, reusable, or requiring special handling categories, and engage qualified vendors for collection and disposal to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Additionally, we dismantle incoming wooden crates to remake them into transportation packaging materials.

Water Management

“Efficient Water Management Empowering Green Production”

Glass production and processing require significant water treatment, so we place great importance on water management. Depending on the water usage in different processes, we have established a "Process Wastewater Recycling System" and a "Plant-wide Wastewater Recycling System." We conduct monthly inspections of water treatment equipment and water usage, continuously update wastewater treatment facilities to ensure compliance with government regulations, and rigorously test water quality to meet standards.
